Search bus tickets across South India in one place, Chennai, Kumbakonam, Madurai, Kochi, Bangalore, Tirupati, Visakhapatnam and every major city and temple town between, compared across a wide network of private bus operators instead of checking one operator's counter at a time. Oray does not run its own buses or its own routes, and does not carry state transport (SRTC) services, every bus you see on Oray comes from a private operator Oray has vetted and works with directly.
Every class of bus, one search
Depending on your route and the operators running it, you can choose from AC, Non-AC, Sleeper, Semi-sleeper, Volvo and Mini buses. Not every class runs every route, availability depends on what the operators serving that corridor actually offer, but wherever a choice exists, you see it side by side, with timings and fares, before you pick.
How booking works
Enter your departure city, destination and travel date, and Oray shows you every available service on that route from its network of private operators. Compare departure times, arrival estimates, bus class and fare directly, choose your seat, add your boarding and dropping points, and confirm. You do not need to know which operator to trust in advance, Oray has already done that vetting.
Once your bus is booked, Oray also shows you the other services worth arranging for the same trip, a cab at either end of your journey, or a hotel at your destination city, so the rest of your trip can be planned in the same place, right after you book, instead of starting a fresh search somewhere else.
Track your bus, where it's available
Some of Oray's operator partners support live tracking, so you can see roughly where your bus is as your departure time approaches. This isn't available on every service yet, since it depends on the individual operator's own equipment, but where it is offered, you'll see it on your booking. We're working with more operators to extend this over time.
Verified operators, real accountability
Oray does not list every bus operator that wants to be listed. Each private operator on the platform goes through a vetting process before their services appear for booking, covering vehicle condition, safety record and reliability on the routes they run. If something does go wrong with a specific trip, Oray's support team is your point of contact, not the operator directly, so you are never left trying to chase down a bus company on your own.
Choose your seat, boarding and dropping point
Most services on Oray let you pick your own seat from a live seat map, along with a boarding point and dropping point that suits your actual journey, not just the operator's default terminal. This matters especially on longer routes where a mid-route boarding point can save you real time.
Comparing operators before you book
Because Oray shows every available operator on your route side by side, you're not stuck choosing blind. Fare, bus class, departure and arrival times, and the operator's own service standard are all visible together, so a comparison that would otherwise mean checking several separate websites or calling around town takes a few seconds instead. If two operators run the same route at similar times but different fares, you'll see exactly why, different bus class, different amenities, and can decide what actually matters for your trip.
