A drop-only option is also available if you only need your car and a driver for a single one-way trip, rather than the driver waiting with you. Every driver in our directory is experienced and skilled, with the range of ability to handle both everyday local driving and longer outstation journeys carefully.
How pricing works
Call Driver pricing depends on your car's class, the time of day, the season, and current demand, so we do not show a single automated rate in the app the way we do for our cab services. As a general shape: local hire is billed from a minimum hour block, with a clear rate for each additional hour and a modest surcharge for late-night hours. Outstation hire is billed by the day or by distance, with its own per-kilometre rate beyond an included distance, and on multi-day outstation trips, food and accommodation for the driver, similar in spirit to the daily bata paid to cab drivers, is factored in.
Why we do not automate this
We deliberately do not turn Call Driver pricing into a single tap in the app. Matching the right driver to your specific car and your specific requirement, whether that is a manual gearbox, a particular vehicle class, or a family member who needs extra care and patience, takes real judgement, not just an algorithm. Verified, experienced drivers
Every Call Driver in Oray's directory is vetted before being matched to a booking. You will know who is driving your car, their experience and their language ability, before you confirm anything, and the same driver can be requested again for future bookings if they were a good fit for your car and your family.
Cancellation
A modest cancellation charge applies if you cancel a confirmed Call Driver booking, our booking manager will confirm the exact terms when you book, along with your price.
