How booking works
Enter your pickup point and destination, and Oray finds you the nearest available driver within your radius. Local supply is deep in every city Oray serves, so cabs are typically assigned within 5 to 10 minutes, faster than outstation trips. You see your driver's details and estimated arrival as soon as a match is made, and you can watch the cab approach in the app. On the rare occasion nothing is available nearby, the app will tell you directly rather than leave you waiting.
Transparent, upfront pricing
Local Taxi uses the same fare logic as every Oray booking: each operator's minimum trip distance, standard practice across the industry, is calculated automatically for your route, and the exact fare is shown before you confirm. There is no need to negotiate with a driver or guess the cost in advance. Tolls and parking, where they apply on a local trip, are billed separately based on actual cost, not folded into the quote.

Pick a hatchback for a quick, budget trip, a sedan for standard comfort, or an SUV if you are travelling with more people or need extra boot space. Each is priced accordingly, and you choose directly in the app.

Verified drivers, real accountability
Every driver on the Oray platform is background-checked before their first trip. You see the driver's name, vehicle number and estimated arrival before pickup, and you can track the trip in the app from booking to drop-off.
Payment and cancellation
Pay by UPI, card or net banking at booking, or settle the balance in cash at drop-off. Cancel before the cut-off window shown on your booking for no fee; a partial charge applies after that window.
