Book a package taxi by the hour, anywhere Oray operates across South India, whether you need a car for a few hours in the city or a full day covering multiple stops. You pick the duration, Oray includes a set distance in the price, and you do not need to return to your starting point, just tell us where you expect to end.
How packages work
Choose an hour block, 4 hours with 40km included or 8 hours with 80km included are the most common, though 2, 5 and 10 hour options are also available. If you have a specific plan in mind, a wedding day, a multi-stop business itinerary, or an outstation day trip, contact Oray and we will match you to the best price and package for it. Your driver stays with you for the full duration, waiting between stops as needed. There is no need to plan your exact route in advance, tell the driver where you would like to go next as the day unfolds, within your remaining hours and kilometres.
Local packages suit city sightseeing, shopping across multiple areas, a full day of business meetings, or a wedding or event where the car needs to be available all day. The same hourly model also covers longer outstation hire spanning a full day or more, for trips where a simple point-to-point Round Trip does not fit your plan.
Overage pricing
If you go beyond your package's included hours or kilometres, extra time and extra distance are each billed at a clear per-hour and per-km rate, shown to you as you approach your limit, not calculated as a surprise afterward. As with every Oray booking, the operator's rates are calculated automatically for your package and shown before you confirm.
Multi-day and overnight packages
If your package runs late into the night or spans more than one day, a standard daily driver allowance, known locally as bata, applies for any night your driver stays away from their home base. This is included in your estimate before you confirm.
Choose your vehicle
Pick a hatchback for a small group on a budget, a sedan for standard comfort, or an SUV for a larger group or more luggage across the day. Each is priced accordingly, and you choose directly in the app. If you have any specific requirements, contact Oray customer care and we will match you accordingly.
Verified drivers, real accountability
Every driver on the Oray platform is background-checked before their first trip. You get the driver's name, vehicle number and estimated arrival before pickup, and you can track your trip in the app for the full duration of your package.
Payment and cancellation
Pay by UPI, card or net banking at booking, or settle the balance in cash at drop-off. Cancel before the cut-off window shown on your booking for no fee; a partial charge applies after that window.
When to book something else instead
If you need the same cab and driver to travel to a destination and back to where you started, our Round Trip service is built specifically for that. If your trip is a single point-to-point drop with no need for the car to wait, One-Way is usually the better value. Packages are for when you need the car and driver available across a set number of hours, wherever that time takes you.
Common packages booked through Oray include full-day city hire for business travellers, wedding and event day packages, multi-stop shopping and sightseeing trips, and extended outstation hire where a simple round trip does not cover the plan.
